This is another great picture from after the ceremony. We had a blast during the whole thing, especially during the ceremony!
We all had a blast at the reception... escpecially Reid, he was dancing it up all night!

This is one of my favorite pictures from the ceremony... they did a great job of the photography.
Everything about this day was wonderful. The best part was that at the end of the day, I married my best friend!

Labor Day Weekend!

On Labor Day weekend, we went up to the mountains for my bachalorette weekend. It was awesome. Here is a picture from the first night of Sue Ann, Camie, and me. We were sitting on the porch, enjoying our wonderful view, while we were waiting for my sister to get up there. It was a wonderful weekend and I could not have asked for a better time. Below is a picture of our view from the cabin. It was an awesome view, nothing really in sight, except the mountains.

Here is a picture of all four of us: Sue Ann, me, Camie, and Kadie. We were enjoying the hot tub and the view. It was a very relaxing weekend and one that was much needed for me.

Thanks to you all for a wonderful weekend. I would not change a thing about it, it was perfect. Love you all!

Stephanie's Wedding

On August 16th, one of my best friends got married, Stephanie Nevels, now Stephanie Holcombe. THe wedding was wonderful and beautiful. It was outside at the Carl House in Auburn, GA. This is a picture of Rob and I from the wedding.

This is Stephanie and Scott Holcombe! Aren't they adorable!?!?!?!

This is a picture of Elizabeth and I at the reception!

We had a blast and it was wonderful!

Our wedding shower

On July 26th, one of my bridesmaids, Kristen, threw us a wedding shower. It was wonderful, and very exciting to see everyone. It was a bed and bath shower, with a few kitchen items. We had a blast. Robs family came, my mom came, and we had tons of friends there. Here are a few pictures from the day! The picture on top is Rob with his parents and the one on the bottom is Stephanie Holcombe and Elizabeth Bean, two of my best friends from high school!!

Rascal Flatts

On August 1, Rob and I went to see Rascal Flatts with our great friends Mark and Sue Ann. Sue Ann and I had a blast, while the guys had fun drinking. This is a picture of Sue Ann and I before the concert started. The evening started sitting in traffic trying to get down to Lakewood, and ended the same. We sat in traffic for 2 hours after the concert trying to leave the concert. We had a blast!

Kansas City

In June, my cousin Greg got married in Kansas City. It was beautiful, and we look forward to getting to know his new bride, Jennifer, over the years. This is a picture from the rehearsal dinner of my other cousin Holly and I. I will try to post more pictures later.

Cruise

I know that this is a little behind, but things have been very hectic for me lately. In April, Rob and I went on a cruise. One of the days we rented a speedboat and had a somewhat guided tour around the island of Cozumel. We made one stop during the trip and I got to hold two star fish. They were adorable, but when they starting sucky on my hands is when I sorta freaked out. This picture was taken during that freakout period.

The picture below we took while on the boat. Yes, we were driving the boat at the same time at trying to take the picture, but it turned out great.

Here is my favorite picture of our engagement pictures. We had them taken a few months ago and they turned out great. With just over five months left until we get married, things are getting a little hectic. Since I have started classes for the CPA exam and studying tons, the wedding has taken a back seat. We are almost done with the planning, all we have left to do is the cake; which will hopefully be done today. Then we have the invitations to choose, then we are done! YEAH!! I cannot wait to marry my best friend and spend the rest of my life with him. Five months and counting!

New Job

Today Rob officially started his new job as a detective with the City of Johns Creek. He went into work last to start off with a bang. They went and issued warrants and made arrests. He called it a very successful night. Here are a few pictures from an event that Johns Creek had yesterday to introduce the officers to the city. I had a chance to meet some of his co-workers and they all seem very nice. We are very excited about this new chapter in his life.

John's Creek

Well, for those who did not know that Rob was looking for a new job, he was. And today he accepted a position with John's Creek Police Department as a DETECTIVE! We are so very happy. This is what he has been waiting on for a few years now; since John's Creek decided to become a city. If you think about it, please email/call him to congratulate him.
Hope everyone is doing well. No new news for me. Just same old stuff.
Have a wonderful day, I know that we will!!!

Detective!!

For those who may not know already, Rob was transferred to the detective unit for Fulton County Police Department. This was a blessing since this is what he has always wanted to be. And there is a plus for me: I get to see him more often. We will be working the same hours for the first time in 4 years!!!
I will keep you all posted on any new wedding news that may come up!1

Holiday Season

We had a very hectic holiday season to say the least. This was our first Thanksgiving that we have been able to spend together since we started dating. So that was a big deal for us. We had some friends over and my mother came for dinner that day. We had a blast hanging out with everyone. That night, we put up our Christmas decorations and the tree, my favorite part of the holiday season.
For Christmas, we spent Christmas Eve with his family and then drove to my moms for Christmas Day with my family. It was a blast with the kids, they are now both old enough to know what is going on. They love to open presents, even if they aren't theirs(Reid mainly like to help opening them, especially Uncle Rob's). It is truly amazing how much energy those two little boys have. They can take a lot out of you.
My family was here for nearly two weeks, which was great because I got to spend lots of time the with boys. I miss them since they moved to Charleston.
Hopefully I will have update on wedding news soon.
Hope everyone has a wonderful New Year!
