New Job

Today Rob officially started his new job as a detective with the City of Johns Creek. He went into work last to start off with a bang. They went and issued warrants and made arrests. He called it a very successful night. Here are a few pictures from an event that Johns Creek had yesterday to introduce the officers to the city. I had a chance to meet some of his co-workers and they all seem very nice. We are very excited about this new chapter in his life.

John's Creek

Well, for those who did not know that Rob was looking for a new job, he was. And today he accepted a position with John's Creek Police Department as a DETECTIVE! We are so very happy. This is what he has been waiting on for a few years now; since John's Creek decided to become a city. If you think about it, please email/call him to congratulate him.
Hope everyone is doing well. No new news for me. Just same old stuff.

Detective!!

For those who may not know already, Rob was transferred to the detective unit for Fulton County Police Department. This was a blessing since this is what he has always wanted to be. And there is a plus for me: I get to see him more often. We will be working the same hours for the first time in 4 years!!!
I will keep you all posted on any new wedding news that may come up!1

Holiday Season

We had a very hectic holiday season to say the least. This was our first Thanksgiving that we have been able to spend together since we started dating. So that was a big deal for us. We had some friends over and my mother came for dinner that day. We had a blast hanging out with everyone. That night, we put up our Christmas decorations and the tree, my favorite part of the holiday season.
For Christmas, we spent Christmas Eve with his family and then drove to my moms for Christmas Day with my family. It was a blast with the kids, they are now both old enough to know what is going on. They love to open presents, even if they aren't theirs(Reid mainly like to help opening them, especially Uncle Rob's). It is truly amazing how much energy those two little boys have. They can take a lot out of you.
My family was here for nearly two weeks, which was great because I got to spend lots of time the with boys. I miss them since they moved to Charleston.

This past weekend, I went to Lawrence, Kansas for KU Homecoming 2007 with Camie and Joy. We had a blast. This is a picture of Camie and I at the football game where KU beat Nebraska 76-39; it was a great game. I learned a few things this weekend, like that i am not 18 anymore and I cannot hang with them like I used to be able to. I grew up and has Camie and Joy put it, became an old married woman. This was also the weekend that we all entered into "maam"hood. It was quite a weekend.

Louisville

This past weekend, Rob and I went to Louisville with our good friends Mark and Sue-Ann Jeffery. We went to the homecoming game and we had a blast. I just wanted to post some pictures from our trip.

This weekend, I am heading to Lawrence for the Kansas homecoming game, so stay posted for pics from that. GO Jayhawks!!

Georgia is also having there homecoming this weekend, so GOOOO Dawgs Sic' um ... Woof Woof Woof!!

This AM

I had a wonderful surprise this morning when I got to work. I listened to me voicemail and there was a sweet little voice on the other end. It was my sweet nephew Reid calling to say good morning. It was a wodnerful surprise and a voicemail taht I will keep for a long time. It is amazing how much I miss the boys since they have moved to Charleston.
A wedding update! It is official, I have bought my wedding dress! I am so excited. Keep checking back for more updates!

Just wanted to give an update on wedding things. We have booked our photographer, and are now looking for a dj and videographer. Any ideas are welcome! Hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend. And... GO DAWGS!!!!!
