Sweet Madison!

Whenever someone has a camera out, or even your phone, Madison says "cheese!" with the bigest smile on her face! This was one that I took while we were eating dinner one night. And yes, she did have food all over her chin at the end of dinner...such a crazy kid!

We went to Northpoint Mall to go to Potterybarn Kids to get her a big girl quilt..yes, I said it...a BIG girl quilt...and they have a train there that goes around the whole mall, and she loved it! My mom rode with her since I had Ashley there too! She had such a good time...she kep saying ride choo-choo train...ride choo-choo train...we will be going back I am sure!

Madison is getting to be such a big girl! She is almost potty-trained; and she is helping so much with Ashley. She will go and get something if you need it, and always wants to hold her. Such a great big sister!

Funny story...the other night, Ashley had a very wet diaper, and Madison was so concerned that I was not changing it yet, that she started to take Ashley's pajamas off and weas trying to get her diaper off. She kept saying "Mommy change Ashley's daiper...its wet or stinky"...such a concerned big sister!

Playdate!

The night of Madison's birthday party, we had a play date with sweet LMC! They got a long to good, it was awesome! Here are a few pictures that from that night!

 They loved sitting on the couch and taking drinks from their cups...such big girls!

 LMC has a play house...which we will be purchasing once we get into our new house...and the girls LOVED it! Madison kept going in the front door and climbing out the window, which was then followed by LMC doing it...such silly girls!

We are truly blessed to have such sweet friends in Keri, Brice, and LMC! We love you all!

Madison's Birthday Party!

We celebrated Madison's birthday in April, so I know I am late with this; but things have been a bit crazy around here! We decided to have her party at a park this year since all her friends are old enough now to play on playgrounds! Needless to say, it was a hit! She swung on the big girl swing for the first time, and she LOVED it! Such a big girl now!

 Here she is with her sweet friend Charlotte, aka LMC! They had a blast playing together at the park, it was so nice to see her play with all her friends; there were so many wonderful people that came to help us celebrate our 2 year old!

 Her birthday cake this year was from Publix. It was a pull-apart cupcake cake. Great idea! The theme was Minnie Mouse, incase you couldn't figure that out! I loved the cake, and Madison did too! I think that she ate about 4 cupcakes, but only the icing! That was her favorite part of them...waht a crazy kid!

2 years...

Yesterday we celebrated our sweet baby girl turning 2! For the big occasion, we went to Chuck E Cheese. Everyone had a blast. My sister and neice were there too, Kadie and Rylie. Madison and Rylie loved playing with each other at my moms house while we were there for a few days. Both girls woke up this mornign wanting to play with the other one, asking where they were; so precious! Here are a few pictures from our evening out at Chuck E Cheese yesterday!

 Both the girls were absolutely terrified of Chuckie up close, but when he was not close, they were in love with him. They kept looking around for him, and saying where is Chuckie? The minds of little 2 year olds!

 This monster truck was Madisons favorite ride ever! This was really the only thing she wanted to do the entire time. I love the happy faces that she is making while riding in the truck!

All in all, we had a very wonderfulk day spending time with my family; we especially loved getting to see Mimi, Aunt Kadie, and cousin Rylie. We hope to get to see Kadie and Rylie much more before they head back overseas. We have missed them so much!

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter! We spent Sunday at Robs parents house. We had some eggs hidden and she LOVED hunting for them. Here is a picture right after she found one; love that face!

One of the best sights: coming outside and seeing daddy holding Madison up so she could "dunk" the basketball! Madison LOVED doing this!

All in all, we had a great weekend!

Zoo Atlanta!

When Camie came down, we went to the zoo for a morning. We had a blast! My awesome friends Amanda and her adorable son Jonathon joined us for the fun! The picture above is of Madison riding the carousal, which she loved and would have stayed on all day if I had let her! We love going to the zoo and see all the animals!

Ashley's newborn pictures!

We had a wonderful person take Ashley's newborn pictures and my maternity pictures! Here are some of my favorite pictures; hope you enjoy them as much as I do! We love you Zandra Horkan Photography, can't wait to get more pictures done of the girls!

Since I have so many favorites, it is hard to choose my absolute favorite. But this one in the net comes very close; such a neat idea!

I have to say that this is my absolute favorite one! I love the color contrasting that Zandra did with this. The tutu is adorable!

rest of the week...

Madison found 2, yes 2, sanddollars while we were at the beach with NaiNai. Here they are in the bleach water to get them white and pretty. I don't think that she cared too much, but NaiNai and I were very excited to find them! We also found a starfish, but I forgot to get a picture of it before we left...maybe next time!

Here is NaiNai and Madison walking on the beach. This was Madison's favorite activity while we were there. When we got back, all she wanted to do was "walk beach please", broke my heart to tell her that we were no longer at the beach. But I reassured her that we would be going back this summer, and she could "walk beach" all she wanted then!

Beach trip so far...

On Friday, we headed down to St. Simons for a week. I was so excited to get out of Atlanta and get a break from everything with Rob and my mom. Unfortunately Rob could not stay the whole with us, he left this morning, which is Monday. We will miss him! Before he left, I wanted to get some family pictures taken.

Here is one from the pier. Before dinner, we headed to the pier to take a walk and let Madison have some fun! She and daddy had fun looking at the birds and all the people on the beach.

Here is a family picture! This is one of our first ones, as I havent felt great about being in front of camera. But, I wanted to get some pictures of the girls, I just love saying that, with their "Big Sister/Little Sister" shirts before Ashley outgrows hers. It is not the best picture, but hey, I have an almost 2 year old who likes to throw tantrums...we did the best we could!

Here is a picture of just Rob, me, and Ashley. Madison had enough of trying to be still for pictures, so she left!
